In collaboration with Cree and Clay.
Each clay talisman is one of one, featuring an intricately hand-carved design depicting tiny observations from the natural world. Animals, elements, fruits and flora on a tiny scale. Pieces are finished with delicate highlights of gold before being mounted in silver to wear as talismans.
The silver mounts are sandcast in recycled silver, with the raw, organic texture of the metal left untouched.
Each clay pendant is sold individually, with an open ring that allows you to attach it to your favourite necklace. Make the talisman into a full necklace with the option to choose from a simple silver cable chain or a string of Dalmatian jasper gemstone beads.

Love letter to the landscape
The collaborative work of Effie Burns and Emily Georgina Jones explores the way nature has always shaped the way we adorn ourselves. A way to carry the world with us. The alchemy of collaboration brings a sense of wonder to the work. The casting process preserves a precise moment in time. The Celts considered the oak to be sacred, providing protection. The snail reminds us that life moves forward. The spiral appears throughout the natural world in the shape of horns, whirlpools and galaxies. The bold form of the silver pin is like a tendril unfurling. Together they have created a talisman for trying times, a love letter to the landscape.
A large silver kilt pin, curved and twisted into a fluid form leading the eye to subtle details of silver and gold to delight the wearer. A cast glass acorn by Effie with a gold leaf snail shell hangs from the pin, on a silver loop which hides a tiny dot of 9ct yellow gold used to join the two pieces.
Materials, 925 sterling silver, cast glass, 9ct yellow gold, gold leaf.
